Your Responsibilities

Lockton Dunning Benefits is currently seeking a Pharmacy Data Analyst, who will help with client data file management, data analysis, data governance, reporting, and operations related to Pharmacy Analytics. Your team provides support for Pharmacy Benefit analytics to all lines of Health and Welfare assisting with RFP activities, reporting, and reconciliations.

• Manages day-to-day operations for reviewing data validation, vendor file transfers, and data mapping.
• Drives relationships with internal account teams for process enhancements and for resolving open data issues.
• Maintains a thorough understanding of the data warehouse process, PBM contract requirements, reconciliations, ftp processes, vendor agreements, reporting applications, and reporting requirements.
• Meets established Quality Standards and helps drive higher standards.
• Maintains team documents, files, standards, operating procedures, and guidelines.
• Identifies competing timelines and actively engages team members and cross-functional teams to prioritize deliverables.
• Attends weekly sessions with team/series leads on all open projects and sets priorities.
• Helps execute strategic vision for data warehouse enhancements/improvements to serve Analytics needs.
• Interfaces with strategic partners to address issues and trends.
• Reviews and corresponds to vendor requests and inquiries for data transfer activities.
• Helps establish practices around data governance and accuracy management.
• Creates and updates JasperSoft reports per the business needs.
• Creates and runs analytic models using SQL to analyze trends at a client and book of business level.
• Maintains a high level of professionalism and sense of urgency to ensure client and account team expectations are consistently met.
• Performs other duties as assigned or requested.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, SQL, and PowerPoint. MS Access experience desired.
• Thorough understanding of claims files processing and data concepts.
• Knowledge of Pharmacy Analytics coverage and services.
• Knowledge of data visualization.
• Must have strong internal and external customer service skills, along with the ability to develop sound internal client relationships.
• Demonstrates the ability to instill confidence and comfort with clients and representatives.
• Must have strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills to interact with associates at all levels of responsibility, along with the ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy.
• Demonstrates professional, tactful negotiation and persuasion skills to achieve objectives.
• Organizational and time management skills to prioritize workload and meet deadlines required. Must be results-oriented with the ability to change priorities as needed.
• Efficient in multi-tasking (managing workload and timeliness).
• Self-motivated and a team player.
• Adept at problem solving and making critical decisions.
• Ability to interpret and implement company and state policies and processes.
• Ability to grasp new and complex concepts.
• Bachelor’s Degree (preferred) not a requirement.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a data analysis role.
• Legal right to work in the United States.
