Role Overview

We’re looking for a Marketing Data Analyst to help us understand, measure, and improve the performance of our marketing funnel. You’ll dive deep into acquisition and middle-funnel data, uncover insights that drive conversion and retention, and provide recommendations that shape how we invest in growth.

We run heavy ad campaigns across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Meta, and Google, so experience analyzing and interpreting performance data from these platforms is a must.

This role is highly analytical and cross-functional: you’ll work with product, marketing, and leadership to translate data into actionable strategies that improve campaign efficiency and user outcomes. If you love finding patterns in the numbers, building frameworks for decision-making, and driving impact through data, this is the role for you.

What You’ll Do

  • Funnel Analysis: Own the middle funnel of the user journey. Diagnose where users drop off, identify friction points, and surface insights to improve conversion and retention.
  • Marketing Performance Analytics: Evaluate ad spend and campaign efficiency (CPA, LTV, ROAS) across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Meta, and Google Ads. Provide clear recommendations on where and how to scale.
  • Experiment Measurement: Partner with the marketing team to design and analyze A/B tests, campaigns, and experiments to understand impact on key metrics.
  • Dashboarding & Reporting: Build, maintain, and interpret dashboards that track marketing KPIs in real time.
  • Opportunity Mapping: Surface high-ROI opportunities across acquisition, activation, and retention, and create frameworks for prioritization.
  • Cross-Functional Insights: Collaborate with product, growth, and leadership to ensure data-driven decision-making across initiatives.
  • Ad Hoc Analysis: Pull and synthesize data to answer urgent business questions and provide clarity quickly.

What You’ll Need

  • 2+ years in analytics, marketing analytics, business intelligence, consulting, or a related quantitative role ideally within a high-growth startup or marketing-driven organization.
  • Direct experience analyzing performance data from TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Meta, and Google Ads.
  • Strong analytical skills with mastery of Excel / Google Sheets and experience working with dashboards (Looker, Tableau, Mode, or similar).
  • Ability to turn complex data into clear insights and recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Comfort balancing detail-oriented analysis with fast-paced execution.
  • A proactive, “get it done” attitude with a bias toward action.

Nice to Have

  • Background in trading stocks, fintech startups, or progressive, high-growth companies.
  • Understanding of social media marketing (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube).
  • Creative eye for high-performing visuals and campaigns or hands-on content creation experience.
  • Experience with Braze.
  • Generous UNLIMITED PTO (and we mean it!).
  • Mandated two-week holiday shutdown at the end of the year for Christmas and New Year’s + company holidays.
  • Autopilot covers 99% of premiums for employee and dependent benefits (health, dental, vision).
