Responsible for supporting the execution of the assigned quality program strategy through data analysis to drive results to improve or maintain quality performance, outcomes, and ratings. This role involves developing reports, enhancing existing reports, analyzing data, and improving business processes to inform leadership decisions. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to ensure data accuracy, optimize processes, enhance performance, maximize revenue, and ensure compliance.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret quality performance data using statistical techniques.
  • Generate reports on performance metrics and trends, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards for tracking key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Translate data into actionable insights through quantitative analysis.
  • Review reports to improve quality ratings and performance indicators.
  • Support decision-making for key projects with analytical insights.
  • Identify opportunities for quality improvement and collaborate on action plans.
  • Monitor intervention effectiveness and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Communicate findings to all levels of the organization regularly.
  • Stay informed about regulatory changes affecting program guidelines and methodologies.
  • Interpret policy changes and assess their impact on planning and operations.
  • Coordinate with clinical, operational, and customer service teams to align quality efforts.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Provide training on quality program requirements and best practices.
  • Contribute to strategies that improve member and provider engagement, compliance, and gap closures.
  • Develop educational materials and campaigns based on insights.
  • Keep current with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory updates.

Supporting Responsibilities:

  • Participate in quality improvement activities, committees, and task forces.
  • Meet departmental performance and attendance expectations.
  • Adhere to privacy policies and HIPAA regulations regarding protected health information.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Success Profile:

Work Experience: Minimum 3 years in data analysis or related fields; healthcare quality experience preferred.

Education: Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, mathematics, IT, or related; Master’s preferred.

Knowledge: Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SAS, SQL), visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI), knowledge of CMS Stars, HEDIS, CAHPS, and other quality measures. Skills in healthcare data analysis, data mining, and identifying health disparities. Familiarity with statistical and machine learning techniques is a plus. Strong problem-solving and business acumen required.
