Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Lead Data Engineering Analyst to join their team!

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to lead the development of a cloud-based enterprise data platform. This role is pivotal in driving innovation through modern cloud technologies for the midstream oil and gas business units. Join a dynamic team to architect and implement data strategies that support advanced analytics and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Architect comprehensive cloud-based data architectures
• Develop data models and technical specifications
• Create reference architectures for data ingestion and analytics
• Collaborate to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Provide technical guidance on cloud data services
• Implement strategies for migrating data platforms to cloud

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 7+ years as a Data Engineer
• Expert in Python and SQL
• Experience in dimensional modeling and data vault methodology
• Deep expertise in AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience with ETL, ELT, Pub/Sub, Streaming, and Change Data Capture
• Familiarity with Python Data Engineering packages
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools
• Understanding of software development practices
• Experience with Snowflake, DBT, and Airflow

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with Data Lakehouse patterns
• Knowledge of Apache Iceberg or Delta Lake
