Summary:
We are seeking a technically-oriented Data Analyst I with a foundational understanding of electrical theory to support system performance and reliability monitoring. This role involves collecting and analyzing operational data, identifying trends or anomalies, and producing reports to drive performance improvements and minimize revenue loss. The ideal candidate will have experience working with data tied to electrical systems, hardware, or technical infrastructure, and must reside in the Oklahoma City area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with internal teams to understand business needs and define data requirements related to system performance.
- Analyze operational and technical data to detect trends, recurring issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Design, develop, and maintain performance dashboards and reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
- Build and maintain complex T-SQL queries for data extraction and reporting.
- Conduct root cause analysis and create clear documentation to support corrective actions.
- Develop PowerPoint presentations and written reports to communicate findings to leadership.
- Contribute to improving data collection processes and reporting workflows.
- Support the identification and tracking of system issues to minimize potential operational or financial impact.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Business, or related field & or equivalent relevant work experience.
- 1–2 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role.
- Hands-on experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, and SSRS.
- Familiarity with electrical systems, hardware telemetry, or infrastructure environments is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage large, complex data sets.
- High attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to clearly communicate findings through reports and presentations.
