Title: Data Governance Analyst
Location: United States
Duration: 12-month contract to hire

Skillset / Experience: INSPYR Solutions seeks a highly organized and experienced Senior Data Governance Analyst to partner with IT, Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, and Data Science teams. Responsibilities include developing data governance policies, standards, procedures, and managing Data Catalog and Data Governance tools.
- Develop and deploy data governance frameworks, policies, and processes for data ingestion, movement, quality, master & reference data, and lifecycle management.
- Execute data stewardship and business processes using tools like Alation, OneTrust, etc.
- Understand physical databases, data models, and cloud environments.
- Apply deep data analytics and quality knowledge.
- Implement data policies and security measures for data audits.
- Support enterprise tools such as Data Catalog, Metadata Management, Data Quality, and Master Data Management.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to establish data governance roles, data dictionaries, metadata, and access controls.
- Ensure remediation plans for data that does not meet standards.
- Assist business owners and data stewards with data issues, solutions, and industry standards.
- Perform data discovery, build glossaries, catalogs, and conduct data analysis and profiling.
- Engage in business analysis, process mapping, and requirement gathering.
- Manage multiple work streams independently, communicate effectively about issues and impacts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years in database design, data warehouse development, or similar experience.
- Experience with data governance tools like Alation, OneTrust, SAP, Collibra is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Cloud technologies (preferably AWS).
- Strong communication skills, ability to work with senior management, build relationships, and influence teams.
- Ability to develop strategic plans and align stakeholders for project success.
