Full Job Description

Tom Krutis Excavating Inc. is seeking a skilled and motivated Construction Pipe Worker to join our team. As a Pipe Laborer, you will play a vital role in setting up pipe lasers, installing storm sewers, sanitary sewers, and water mains, and leading the pipe crew in the trenches. Experience in trench safety and reading site plans is required.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

• Set up and operate pipe lasers for accurate pipe installation.
• Install storm sewers, sanitary sewers, and water mains according to project specifications.
• Lead the pipe crew in trench work, ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Follow trench safety protocols and safety regulations.
• Read and interpret site plans and blueprints.
• Prepare work sites by clearing obstructions and setting up equipment.
• Perform maintenance and safety checks on tools and equipment.
• Coordinate with project managers and team members.
• Maintain a clean and organized worksite.

The Ideal Candidate Should Possess

• Experience with pipe lasers and installing storm sewers, sanitary sewers, and water mains.
• Ability to lead a pipe crew in trench work.
• Knowledge of trench safety practices and regulations.
• Ability to read site plans and blueprints.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical stamina and adaptability to weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Schedule

• Full-time
