Job Description

We’re looking for dependable, mechanically minded individuals to join our concrete pipe production team.

• Competitive pay of $21 / hr starting
• 2nd shift job, from 11:30am - 10pm
• Monday - Thursday ( 3 days off )

In this role, you’ll help build reinforced concrete pipes used in stormwater and wastewater infrastructure. Work includes building and loading rebar cages, mixing and compacting concrete, operating heavy equipment (including overhead cranes), and supporting production across departments.

Responsibilities

• Build Reinforcement Cages – Operate automatic cage-welding machines to assemble steel reinforcement cages. Ensure proper wire spacing and alignment per specifications.
• Mix and Feed Concrete – Operate batching and mixing systems, monitor water and additive levels, and feed concrete into the mold using conveyors. Maintain consistency and quality of the mix.
• Operate Cranes and Material Handling Equipment – Use overhead cranes and forklifts to safely move steel cages, pipe molds, and finished product throughout the facility.
• Load and Unload Molds – Set up molds for each pour, position cages, and ensure proper mold alignment. After curing, demold pipes safely and efficiently.
• Maintain Inventory and Supplies – Track raw materials such as cement, aggregate, wire, and additives. Replenish supplies and notify leads of low stock or material issues.
• Inspect for Quality and Safety – Conduct pre-use inspections on equipment, verify alignment of cages and molds, and ensure finished pipes meet dimensional and visual standards.
• Follow Work Instructions and Safety Protocols – Read production orders, follow standard operating procedures, and wear required PPE at all times.
• Keep the Plant Clean and Organized – Perform daily housekeeping in work areas, and assist with routine equipment cleaning and maintenance.
  
  

Qualifications

• Experience: 1+ years in a fast-paced production or manufacturing environment.
• Physical Stamina: Able to lift up to 80 lbs occasionally, 40 lbs frequently, and stand for long periods of time.
• Work Ethic: Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented, with a willingness to learn multiple processes.
• Mechanical Aptitude: Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and reading blueprints or instructions.
• Safety First Mindset: Strong awareness of safe work practices and commitment to maintaining a safe environment.
• Problem Solving: Able to spot quality issues or process inefficiencies and take initiative to address them.
• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
