Role Overview:

The Construction Coordinator will track construction progress, prepare weekly field reports, attend OAC meetings, and coordinate with contractors, clients, and company headquarters during the building process.

Company is a full-service architecture and engineering design firm specializing in educational, athletic, and commercial design. Our primary focus is complete client satisfaction, and we encourage our employees to think like owners/managers to achieve this goal. We offer stock options and bonuses, bringing total compensation into the mid to upper $80s--$90s range.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct weekly site visits to monitor construction progress
• Prepare and submit weekly field reports
• Attend OAC meetings
• Coordinate with contractors, clients, and company headquarters
• Review and respond to RFIs and shop drawings
• Approve pay requests and process change orders
• Coordinate with design staff and contractors to resolve field issues
• Conduct punch list observations and write letters of substantial completion
• Collect close-out documents and assist the owner with warranty items

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of commercial construction inspection/management experience
• B.S. in construction management, architecture, or a combination of higher education and related work experience
• Fundamental understanding of engineering systems/approaches and construction processes
• Detail-oriented and customer service-driven

Additional Information:

• Flexible start time between 6:30--9:00 AM, 8-hour days
• Local candidates only; no relocation or sponsorship available
• Salary: $57k--$65k base, with total compensation in the $80s--$90s (including stock options and bonus) + full benefits
