Job Title: General Production Worker

Job Description

  • Join a dynamic manufacturing team dedicated to crafting custom, high-end decorative garage door covers.
  • Work across various departments and production areas, focusing on tasks such as cutting wood and foam to size, gluing, applying wood veneer, sawing panels, and staining with UV-resistant coats.
  • Ensure quality through inspections and measurements.
  • Most tasks involve lightweight materials with minimal lifting requirements.
  • Maintain your workstation and assist with cleaning duties.

Responsibilities

  • Cut wood and foam to specified sizes and glue components together.
  • Apply wood veneer and saw materials into different panels.
  • Stain panels with UV-resistant coatings.
  • Conduct quality inspections and take precise measurements.
  • Maintain workstation and contribute to cleaning efforts.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in cabinetry, carpentry, framing, painting, or woodworking.
  • Proficient in using saws and reading tape measures.
  • Ability to perform quality inspections with attention to detail.
  • Problem-solving skills for independent solution finding.
  • Comfortable with assembly, hand tools, blueprint reading, machine operation, and packaging.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Appreciation for artistic hobbies such as baking, crafts, drawing, and model building.
  • Physical capability to bend, twist, squat, reach, grasp, stand, walk, and perform fine finger manipulations.
  • Comfortable using table saws, CNC routers, HVLP guns, hot wire guns, and tape measures.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds continually, above shoulder height and below the waist.
  • Strong vision capabilities including close, distance, peripheral, color, and depth differentiation.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Post Falls, Idaho.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
