Construction General Laborers Needed in Coralville and Cedar Rapids

Looking for laborers to help out on big construction jobsites in Iowa City, Coralville, North Liberty, Cedar Rapids.

Jobs will vary every day as projects progress and change.

Examples of Job Duties:

• Help contractors with various tasks on big jobsites like apartment complexes, hotels, and commercial buildings
• Cleaning up jobsites
• Loading and unloading tools and materials
• Moving materials and tools around jobsites
• Demo
• Run skid loaders and telehandlers
• Build temporary walls and fencing
• Repair drywall and framing

Hours: 7A - 4P, Monday - Friday

Pay: $18 - $20/hr

What You Need:

• A valid drivers license and reliable transportation - have to meet at jobsites
• High school diploma or GED
• Previous experience doing labor, construction, or similar
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Ability to lift 50-75lbs unassisted
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Experience using hand and power tools

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
