The Clinical Social Worker in the CAPE Program at Boston Children's Hospital is responsible for providing high-quality, coordinated psychosocial care to children requiring long-term ventilator assistance and their families. This role involves conducting assessments, managing cases, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to tailor services to individual patient needs. Candidates must have a Master's in Social Work, a state of MA LICSW, and experience in a medical environment, with bilingual skills in English and Spanish preferred.
This CAPE Clinical Social Worker will be responsible for:
- Conducting psychosocial assessments and provide consultation and support to families
- Managing cases and coordinating complex resources with community, governmental, school, healthcare, and other agencies
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team across the continuum of care
To qualify, you must have:
- Masters in Social Work, and state of MA LICSW
- Several years of social work experience in a medical environment with chronic illness highly preferred
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, along with flexibility and excellent communication skills
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred
