Role Overview

We’re looking for a motivated, self-starting Sales Representative to help us expand Cubby Markets’ footprint. This is an independent contractor (1099) role, perfect for:

Someone with door-to-door or B2B sales experience who wants to keep their skills sharp outside the summer selling season, or who wants a additional B2B job.

Or someone highly motivated to learn sales — we provide training and guidance to help you succeed

As a rep, you’ll focus on generating leads, building relationships with decision-makers, and following up to close placement contracts for our vending and micro-market services.

Responsibilities

Prospect and engage with property managers, facility directors, and executives at:

College apartment complexes

24/7 medical facilities

Warehouses & manufacturing centers


Present Cubby Markets’ value proposition and service model

Follow up on leads and inquiries to move prospects through the pipeline

Negotiate placement agreements and secure signed contracts

Represent the Cubby Markets brand with professionalism and enthusiasm


Qualifications

Prior experience in door-to-door, B2B, or direct sales (summer sales experience is a big plus)

Strong communication and people skills

Comfortable reaching out to decision-makers and handling objections

Self-motivated and disciplined—this is mostly follow-up and relationship-building, along with cold canvassing

Independent worker who thrives in a commission-only environment


Compensation

Straight Commission – High earning potential based on performance
