Job Summary
At ByteMethod.ai, a Dexian company, we are seeking a seasoned and dynamic Senior Project Manager to lead and deliver complex, high-impact software development projects for our clients. This role is critical to the successful execution of enterprise-grade projects spanning AI-driven applications, SaaS tools, enterprise platforms, and digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate has a strong background in modern software delivery projects, thrives under pressure, and excels in navigating multi-team, cross-functional environments across global time zones.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project delivery for multiple large and complex software initiatives, from initiation to final deployment.
- Collaborate closely with client stakeholders, internal functional leads, and cross-disciplinary teams (engineering, product, QA, design, data science, etc.) to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans using tools like MS Project or Smartsheet, tracking progress against timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Ensure rigorous project governance by proactively identifying risks, dependencies, and blockers, and leading mitigation efforts.
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies when applicable.
- Communicate project status regularly to internal leadership and client stakeholders, including executive-level reporting.
- Coordinate and drive accountability across distributed teams, both onshore and offshore, ensuring alignment and timely delivery.
- Adapt project plans dynamically to account for shifting priorities, technical constraints, and client needs.
- Foster a collaborative culture of excellence, ownership, and continuous improvement within the project ecosystem.
- Ensure quality, compliance, and client satisfaction throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Travel domestic and international
Qualifications & Skills
- 8+ years of experience in project and/or program management, specifically within the software development or technology services sector.
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale, complex projects involving AI, enterprise platforms, or digital transformation.
- Strong familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and hybrid project management methodologies.
- Proficient in project planning and tracking tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira).
- PMP Certification is preferred; Scrum Master or other Agile certifications are a plus.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage with senior leadership, clients, and technical teams alike.
- Experience managing cross-functional and distributed global teams across different time zones.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to hold teams accountable and drive results in high-pressure environments.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Business). Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
