We are looking for a detail-oriented Financial Project Manager to oversee the insurance renewal process for our organization. This long-term contract position is based in Saint Louis, Missouri, and requires a strong background in benefits administration and project management. The role involves working collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to ensure the seamless execution of the renewal process within specified timelines.
Responsibilities:
• Manage all aspects of the insurance renewal process, including data collection, analysis, and decision-making.
• Update and prepare employee enrollment documentation for the upcoming insurance cycle.
• Coordinate open enrollment activities, ensuring timely communication and distribution of materials.
• Analyze payroll adjustments related to employee deductions and employer contributions.
• Collaborate with third-party agencies and stakeholders to facilitate the renewal process.
• Support the Controller and Assistant Controller by handling tasks critical to year-end financial close.
• Consolidate and present information to drive informed decision-making during the renewal process.
• Identify and address inefficiencies with current benefits providers, exploring alternatives as needed.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards throughout the renewal process.
• Provide regular updates to leadership on the status and progress of the project.• Proven experience in project management, particularly in insurance or benefits administration.
• Strong understanding of health insurance coverage, benefits analysis, and employee benefit plans.
• Familiarity with working alongside PEOs and third-party benefits providers.
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong analytical skills to assess data and make informed recommendations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining alignment with project goals.
• Proficiency in payroll processes and benefits coordination is highly desirable.
