Senior Project Architect
Pay: $95,500 – $120,000 per year
Location: Hybrid remote in Columbus, OH 43215
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts
Job Type: Full-time

We are seeking a Senior Project Architect with deep knowledge of construction systems and building technology, strong technical leadership, and a focus on quality control. This role is ideal for an experienced architect who is passionate about mentoring project teams, elevating technical standards, and guiding best practices across projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical oversight for multiple projects to ensure quality, constructability, and consistency in deliverables.

• Develop and maintain standardized construction details for firm-wide use.

• Mentor staff in construction documentation, technical excellence, and emerging industry practices.

• Support project delivery across all phases, with a strong emphasis on construction administration.

• Present technical solutions in collaboration with project managers and design leads.

• Coordinate technical strategy with project teams to align with design intent.

Qualifications:

• Professional degree in Architecture (Bachelor’s or Master’s) from an accredited institution.

• Active architectural license is required.

• 10+ years of experience, with a focus on construction detailing and administration.

• Proven expertise in building systems, materials, and emerging construction technologies.

• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities with a proactive, team-oriented mindset.

• Proficiency with software tools such as Bluebeam, Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, Enscape, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office 365.

• Experience in Healthcare Design is required.

• Experience in Science & Technology, Higher Education, or Workplace Design is a plus.
