Overview

Looking for a Power Marketing Project Manager to lead complex IT/OT projects for our Utility Technology Solutions team. You will coordinate across internal stakeholders and external vendors to deliver energy trading and risk management platforms for a major utility client.

If you have experience with ETRM , portfolio optimization , or power marketing systems , and can confidently drive procurement, implementation, and stakeholder engagement, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the full Request for Proposal (RFP) process with procurement and vendors
  • Manage full project lifecycle from planning through cutover and operational stabilization
  • Develop project plans, budgets, schedules, and stakeholder reporting
  • Coordinate across power marketing, risk, IT, and vendor teams
  • Track performance, resolve issues, and manage risks proactively
  • Oversee system integration, UAT, and cutover execution
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and full documentation delivery
  • Communicate effectively with executives and stakeholders

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in Business, Engineering, Info Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 10+ years of project management, with direct experience in power marketing , portfolio optimization , or ETRM platform implementations
  • Experience managing RFPs , vendors , and enterprise-level cutovers
  • Deep understanding of utility operations , energy risk , and project governance
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Project or similar tools
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP or PMI-ACP certification
  • Understanding of utility market operations , forecasting, and integration systems

  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
  • On-site role in Seattle, WA (local candidates preferred)
