Who We Are Seeking
FLINT is seeking a seasoned Self-Perform Project Manager to lead planning, execution, and financial performance of FLINT’s direct-work scopes. You will partner with superintendents and foremen to build crews, methods, and production plans; manage labor, equipment, and materials; and deliver safe, high-quality work on schedule and within budget. Typical self-perform scopes may include structural and site concrete, rough and finish carpentry, framing/drywall, selective demolition, temporary works, specialties install, and prefabricated assemblies. This position can also be located in Sacramento Area.
Desired Education/Experience/Skills
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university preferred.
- 7+ years leading self-perform field operations or project management with direct craft labor, including supervision of foremen and 20+ craft workers.
- Proven delivery of at least two of the following: structural/site concrete, rough/finish carpentry, framing/drywall, selective demo, specialties installation, temporary works, or prefab.
- Strong grasp of means and methods, crew makeups, formwork systems, shoring, layout, and production planning.
- Demonstrated success with unit-rate estimating, production tracking, earned value, and cost forecasting.
- Knowledge of Primavera P6, Viewpoint, Bluebeam, Pype, GCPay, and Microsoft Office. Experience with production tracking or field reporting tools a plus.
- Experienced in Lean Construction and the Last Planner System.
- Understanding of delivery methods and contract types; change management expertise.
- Familiar with certified payroll, prevailing wage, DIR reporting; union/PLA exposure a plus.
- OSHA 30 and First Aid/CPR preferred. LEED and/or DBIA certification highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving; bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
