Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager. The ideal candidate brings experience in managing scope, schedule, and budget, while coordinating internal resources and ensuring timely, accurate deliverables in compliance with regulatory requirements. Business conduct must occur in accordance with OMS policies and procedures and be aligned with the goals of OMS.


Essential Functions:
• Assist the execution of large-scale environmental projects, managing scope, schedule, budget, and quality to meet client and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain thorough documentation and ensure all project activities comply with municipal codes and environmental regulations.
• Proactively support and address project risks and issues, ensuring deliverables align with client’s strategic goals and regulatory deadlines.
• Ensure the preparation and submission of accurate, timely reports and documentation to regulatory agencies. Provide clear, regular status updates to client leadership.
• Other duties as assigned by OMS or the client.


Qualifications:
o Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Environmental Studies, Business, or a related field preferred
o 2–4 years of experience in project coordination or assistant project management
o Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
o Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams) and project tracking tools like Smartsheet or SharePoint
o Familiarity with environmental permitting and vegetation management workflows is a plus
o Ability to work collaboratively under the guidance of senior project leadership
o Conduct a background check, drug screening, and physical exam.
o Approval by Client Representative.
