Combined Resources Interiors, Inc. (CRi) is rapidly growing and is in immediate need of an Assistant Project Manager (Union Carpentry). CRI is a fast paced business that has been incorporated for over 25 years. We specialize in commercial drywall installation, acoustical ceilings, carpentry and taping. About the Job

The role of the Assistant Project Manager is to assist project managers . Candidates should have a previous record of success that includes 2+ years experience as an assistant project manager, excellent written and verbal skills, and superior organizational skills.

The role of Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for the following:

  • Prepare and track submittals, RFI's, transmittals, shop drawings, & closeout documents.
  • Receive and process extra work order tickets.
  • Attend subcontractor meetings and walk-throughs at job sites.
  • Assist with development and creation of Safe Work Plans & Job Hazard Analysis.
  • Assist Project Managers with change orders for submission to General Contractors.
  • Release and track specialty materials.
  • Assist Project Managers with change order material pricing.
  • Read and interpret drawings (Architectural and MEP), shop drawing/plans.

Qualifications for the Assistant Project Manager position are as follows:

  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience as an Assistant Project Manager. Preferably in NYC Union Carpentry.
  • Familiarity with specifications, plans, exhibits, & RFI's.
  • Must be team-oriented, articulate, flexible, highly productive, and able to deal successfully with clients, subs and internal team members.
  • Candidate must demonstrate the ability to multitask, manage risk, set priorities, maintain focus, negotiate, and manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment.

Salary will be commensurate with industry experience and qualifications.

This position requires travel to NYC and surrounding locations.

Candidate must be legally eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
