Assistant Project Manager Job at Rich Global in West Palm Beach

Rich Global is actively seeking a high-performance Assistant Project Manager (APM) to join our elite development team in West Palm Beach. This is a hands-on, high-urgency role for someone ready to live inside a project—tracking every task, pushing deadlines, coordinating professionals, and keeping momentum alive across complex, high-stakes real estate developments.

You’ll work directly under our Director of Development and CEO, supporting some of Florida’s most sophisticated multifamily, industrial, retail, and mixed-use developments—including LIHTC projects with multi-layered funding and public-private partnerships.

This is not a remote role. It’s not a passive role. You’ll be in the trenches every day — following up, documenting, coordinating, solving problems, and driving projects forward.

What you’ll Do

• Coordinate and track day-to-day progress on assigned development projects (usually 1–2 at a time)
• Interface with architects, engineers, municipalities, attorneys, and consultants
• Prepare and manage RFIs, submittals, meeting agendas, and action logs
• Handle permitting, plan submittals, utility coordination, and documentation tracking
• Attend OAC meetings and drive follow-ups through to completion
• Support budgeting and invoice tracking in coordination with CFO and accounting
• Use monday.com, HubSpot, Teams, and other platforms to keep operations organized and updated
• Run errands when needed (e.g., dropping off permits, collecting stamped plans)
• Become the go-to operational support system that helps unlock every next milestone
• Grow into a full Project Manager role as your capabilities and experience mature

What We’re Looking For

• 1–3+ years of relevant experience in construction, development, or real estate project coordination
• Experience with general contractors, real estate developers, or project management firms preferred
• Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills
• Strong follow-through and a “whatever it takes” mindset
• Proficiency in productivity platforms (monday.com, Teams, HubSpot, etc.) a plus
• Based in or able to commute to West Palm Beach full-time — no remote work
• Bachelor’s degree is welcomed, but not required. Your performance matters more than your pedigree.
