Senior Accountant

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to oversee and manage multiple entities within our corporate accounting department. This is an exciting opportunity to grow your career with a forward-thinking, fast-growing investment firm.

Responsibilities

• Manage the accounting operations including month and year end process, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll and utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations, trust account statement reconciliations, fixed asset activity, and debt activity.
• Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce financial reports or statements.
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
• Coordinate and support annual audits.
• Suggest improvements to systems and procedures.
• Meet financial accounting objectives and reporting deadlines.
• Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.
• Handle other projects and duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Yardi or a similar ERP.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, Excel, and accounting software/databases.
• Strong data management and analytical skills.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, standards, laws, and regulations.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a plus.
• Experience with financial reporting, general ledger, reconciliation, and month-end processes.
• Familiarity with pivot tables, balance sheet, and fixed asset management.
• Experience in private equity or similar investment environments is advantageous.

Work Environment

The position is based onsite Monday through Friday in West Palm Beach, FL, with a hybrid schedule available after the training period (2 days from home, 3 days onsite). Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
