Senior Accountant

Salary: $70,000-$85,000

A high-performing company in the technology and infrastructure space is looking for a Senior Accountant to take ownership of key inventory-related financial processes. This Senior Accountant will support a thriving national operation, with direct visibility to leadership and the opportunity to shape and grow the role as the company continues to scale.

The position is based in the northwest suburbs of Chicagoland and follows a hybrid schedule (in office three days per week).

A Few Things You Might Do

• Prepare and post labor transfers and inventory-related journal entries
• Perform inventory balance sheet reconciliations across multiple ERP systems
• Provide detailed analysis for inventory and labor trends
• Own inventory cycle count reporting and accuracy, supporting field and operations teams
• Be the go-to Senior Accountant for U.S. inventory reporting and analysis
• Support monthly close and internal analytics as a systems-savvy Senior Accountant
• Collaborate cross-functionally to identify process improvements and reporting efficiencies
  
  

Ideal Background

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2+ year of accounting experience (inventory or general accounting)
• CPA or Big 4 public accounting background preferred
