Accountant

Pay Range: $28.50 – $34.00/hour (based on experience)

This is not a “heads down, crunch numbers in isolation” role. You’ll be the go-to person for all things accounting, work closely with ownership, and keep our financial operations running smoothly while collaborating with both our customers and vendors. This position is fully onsite in Liverpool, NY.

What You’ll Do

• Own the books – Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable with precision.
• Keep us balanced – Handle daily and month-end bank reconciliations and ensure accurate financials.
• Close the month right – Lead the month-end close process with complete reconciliations.
• Leverage your tools – Use QuickBooks and Excel to track, report, and analyze financial data.
• Be our communicator – Work directly with customers and vendors to resolve questions and maintain strong relationships.
• Partner with leadership – Collaborate daily with one of the owners to prioritize tasks, solve problems, and get things done.

What You Bring

• Proven accounting experience, ideally in a small or mid-sized company setting.
• Strong QuickBooks and Excel skills (including formulas, lookups, and reporting).
• Clear understanding of A/R and A/P
• A knack for organization, multitasking, and staying on top of details in a busy environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Commitment to working onsite in Liverpool, NY, Monday–Friday
