Base pay range

$50,000.00/yr - $65,000.00/yr

1.0 Duties And Responsibilities

The basic duties of the Accountant shall be to maintain accurate adequate accounting records as set forth in the corporate policies and procedures. Responsibilities include:

• Primary lead for Accounts Payable
• Review vendor statements
• Process student balances and end of program for both individual students and contract clients
• Management of company contracts
• KPI Reporting
• Customer Billings
• Inventory Tracking and Monitoring
• Management of Advance Tuition Reimbursement with Airlines
• Tracking of Airplane Leases
• Special projects as directed by the Chief Financial Officer and/or the Controller
• Supports and participates in the organization’s Continual Improvement Program to comply with ISO9001:2015 requirements by adhering to processes and procedures
  
  
  

2.0 Requirements

2.1 EDUCATION

• BA/BS in Accounting/Finance, or equivalent
  
  
  

2.2 Experience

• Two years of experience in the area of financial accounting
• Experience with accounts payable/accounts receivable
  
  
  

2.3 Skills And Abilities

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with demonstrated ability to handle large amount of data and complex formulas required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Working knowledge of Accounting Software (e.g. QuickBooks)
• Proven analytical skills
• Ability to work collegially with all company personnel and as part of a cross-functional team whether as the leader or participant
  
  
  

2.4 EQUIPMENT/MACHINERY USED

• General office equipment such as facsimile, copier, and personal computers
  
  
  

3.0 Physical And Safety Requirements

• Will be working primarily inside the facility
• May have limited exposure to aircraft, simulators and equipment
• Require prolonged periods of sitting or standing
• Require prolonged periods of telephone and computer usage, and other office equipment
