Overview

We are seeking a part-time Accountant to join The Perfect Freight Source, LLC. In this role, you will manage the company’s bills and ensure all invoices are paid in a timely manner as well as process payments received into our TMS software. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, computer savvy, and has a strong understanding of accounting, payments, and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Reconciling credit card and bank statements
• Maintaining accurate general ledger journal entries
• Preparing accounts payable invoices
• Making payments promptly
• Preparing sales and use tax returns
• Providing support for audits
• Collaborating with other departments to handle account issues

Qualifications

• Associates or higher degree in accounting, finance, or a related field strongly preferred
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and accounting software
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and best practices
• Excellent problem-solving and research skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Commitment to accuracy and attention to detail
