Reporting directly to the Accounting Manager, the Accountant will own key functions like month-end close, journal entries, and reporting compliance. If you have experience in the manufacturing or distribution industry and are confident in your technical accounting skills, this is a great opportunity to step into a role where accuracy, ownership, and initiative are highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Own journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes
• Track fixed assets, leases, and payroll-related financials
• Ensure compliance with GAAP
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and P&L analysis
• Support internal and external audits through documentation and controls
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure financial data integrity

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Manufacturing or distribution industry experience
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• Proficiency with Sage or a comparable ERP
• Strong understanding of GAAP; IFRS knowledge a plus
• Hands-on experience with fixed assets, lease accounting, and close processes
