Join our dynamic team as an Investment Accountant where you'll play a pivotal role in managing financial reporting for investment portfolios and joint ventures. This is an exciting opportunity to enhance your accounting skills in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed reviews of monthly income distributions and financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
• Perform intercompany cash clearing and quarterly capital funding reconciliations.
• Collaborate with various departments to support audit and tax compliance activities.
• Analyze and resolve discrepancies in capital accounts and partner equity transactions.
• Contribute to process improvements for greater accuracy and efficiency in accounting workflows.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and ensure adherence to internal controls and policies.
• Support special accounting projects and assignments as required.
  
  
  

Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in investment accounting, fund accounting, or real estate accounting.
• Strong knowledge of partnership accounting and capital reconciliation.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and as part of a team.
  
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience with real estate investments or private equity funds.
• Familiarity with tax reporting requirements for partnerships and LLCs.
• CPA certification or progress towards certification is advantageous.
