Base pay range

$60,000.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in Tampa, FL that is seeking an Accountant. Responsibilities:

• Record monthly journal entries
• The Accountant will record Intercompany transactions and reconcile with other locations
• Record company credit card transactions and reconcile to the statements
• Assist with monthly bank reconciliations
• Assist with monthly balance sheet recons
• Assist with bank and financial audit requests
• Perform financial analysis and provide recommendations to management
• The Accountant will ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies
• Perform ad-hoc accounting duties as assigned
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience
• Experience in the retail industry or a related field
• Strong Excel skills
• Organized and eager to learn

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
