Role Description
HireIQ is proud to partner with a leading construction firm seeking a strong Construction Accountant located in Long Island.
The person will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing and analyzing financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations, and overseeing accounts payable and receivable.
Qualifications
- Expertise in managing financial records, accounts payable, and receivable.
- Skilled in financial statement preparation, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Proficient in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel and QuickBooks Pro.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- At least 4 years of relevant experience, preferably in the construction industry.
