Vice President of Recruitment at Solomon Page

Our client, a global media company, is looking for an Accountant to join their team! This will be a hybrid role working out of their office in Hollywood. The successful candidate will possess strong knowledge of GAAP, have strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Please no corp-to-corp applicants or third-party agencies. Sub-contracted candidates or candidates that require immediate sponsorship cannot be considered.

Role Overview:

• Contract Role: 5 months
• Pay: $35-40/hr on W2
• Schedule: 9AM - 6PM, onsite on Tuesdays, remote for the rest of the week, however, may be subject to change based on business needs
  
  
  

Responsibilities:

• Preparing and uploading journal entries
• Supporting month-end and quarter-end closes
• Assisting with cash receipts & accounts receivables
• Performing intercompany balance reconciliations
• Fixed asset reporting
  
  
  

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related concentration
• 2+ years of corporate accounting / controllership experience
• Prior experience working in the entertainment, media, or streaming industry is highly preferred
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP's, etc.)
• Oracle experience is required
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work a part of a team to complete assignments and meet tight deadlines
