Job Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced In-House Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. The In-House Accountant will ensure our companys financial health and compliance with legal regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and examine financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Manage all accounting transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
• Conduct month-end and year-end close processes.
• Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare budget forecasts and financial reports.
• Monitor and report on the companys financial performance.
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns and other statutory requirements.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and audits.
• Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments to support overall company goals and objectives.
• Apply percent completion accounting methodsto track and report on long-term projects, ensuring accurate revenue recognition and cost allocation.
• Develop and maintain cash flow schedules and forecaststo ensure the companys liquidity and financial stability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA or CMA certification preferred.
• Minimum of [X] years of accounting experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including percent completion accounting.
