This global manufacturing business is looking for an accounting leader in Marlborough, MA. Reporting directly to the Global Controller.
Job Description
Oversee and ensure accuracy in operational accounting processes, including inventory accounting and cost analysis. Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting activities. Monitor compliance with internal controls and company policies to ensure financial integrity. Analyze variances and provide insights to support business decision-making. Support the year-end audit process and prepare documentation as needed. Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. Provide financial guidance to operations teams to drive cost optimization and profitability.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Operations Accountant should have:
- Strong knowledge of operational accounting principles in manufacturing environments
- Inventory and Costing
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and communicate effectively.
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
