Full Time Position (Hybrid – onsite training 1-week, monthly onsite meetings)

As the Accountant I, you will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing transactions to ensure compliance with GAAP and corporate policies and procedures. Responsibilities also include daily cash monitoring of financial bank accounts and posting adjustments to account balances. In addition, this position will be accountable for performing monthly bank and investment reconciliations, managing corporate credit cards, assisting with month-end financial closing processes, and maintaining balance sheet schedules and subsidiary ledgers. You will also communicate with the Controller and AP Manager regarding projects and initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
  • 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience in a corporate environment
  • Working knowledge of GAAP and applicable tax laws/regulations
  • Experience with general ledger systems, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and related sub-systems
  • Proficiency with Excel (intermediate level or above)
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret financial data and identify trends
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively with vendors, staff, and management
  • Experience with ERP or accounting systems (NetSuite preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts payable, expense reports, and vendor invoices to ensure compliance with GAAP and corporate policies
  • Perform monthly bank and investment reconciliations, journal entries, and assist with month-end close
  • Monitor daily cash activity, prepare posting adjustments, and maintain accurate balance sheet accounts
  • Oversee corporate credit card program (applications, cancellations, compliance, and reporting)
  • Support audits, financial reporting, and process improvements across accounting functions
