Accountant Job at GHJ Search and Staffing in Torrance

A fast‐growing fitness/apparel company is seeking an Accountant to support the day‐to‐day accounting operations and drive best‐in‐class financial processes for the organization.

What You’ll Do:

• Support the close – Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, including data entry, reconciliations, and preparing supporting schedules to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Maintain general ledger accuracy – Post journal entries with appropriate support and assist in reconciling key balance sheet accounts under the guidance of senior staff.
• Process improvements – Support AP and AR functions, including invoice processing and payment tracking; look for ways to improve accuracy and efficiency in daily tasks.
• Reporting & data entry – Assist in preparing standard reports and help maintain financial tracking tools and dashboards for the accounting team.

What You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1-3 years of progressive accounting experience
• Advanced Excel skills
