$70,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr

Job Options, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Accounting Support Specialist to join our team. As part of our financial team, you will play a vital role in assisting the Chief Financial Administrator with financial analysis, reporting, and accounting support for various projects within our organization. If you have a background in accounting and are passionate about ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial processes, we'd love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze financial data and prepare detailed financial reports.
• Maintain records of liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, and general ledger accounts.
• Assist with month-end activities, including journal entries, payroll accruals, and account reconciliations.
• Manage daily cash transactions and reconcile bank statements.
• Support inventory control, route management, and invoicing for our laundry division.
• Collaborate with management, operations, and corporate teams to ensure accurate revenue and cost projections.
• Assist with the development of annual budgets and consolidated corporate budgets.
• Develop systems to track management performance and contribute to incentive pay programs.
• Prepare detailed income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow projections for both new and existing projects.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and analyze monthly financial variances.
• Provide backup support for Accounts Payable when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field from a four-year college or university.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. (including preparation and processing of monthly journal entries, Payroll Accrual, fixed asset liabilities, bank reconciliations and financial reports analysis).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, accounting software, and Word Processing software.
• Ability to apply mathematical concepts such as percentages, ratios, and trigonometry to practical situations.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and solve practical problems.
• Professionalism and dependability; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Willing to work on site (Mission Valley, San Diego) when needed (Hybrid schedule will be granted after six months, depending on learning progress.)
