Position: Senior Accountant – San Francisco, CA, Hybrid. Mandatory 3 days in office per week. Remaining two days optional.
Compensation and Benefits: Base of $150k + bonus and carried interest in the fund. Full benefits.

TCG owns and operates ~$400M in real estate. TCG has raised and began deploying its first discretionary fund and aims to 5x its real estate portfolio within five years.

A Stellar Performance Review could have the Following Elements:
- The SA became the go-to expert in Sage Intacct demonstrating proficiency in generating detailed reports, creating journal entries, and managing the general ledger
- The SA became the go-to expert for Accounts Payable and Spend and Expense in Bill.com and Divvy, demonstrating proficiency in generating detailed reports, categorizing transactions, and on-time billing
- The SA consistently completed month-end close within 5 business days
- The SA contributed to at least 10 new accounting policies and eliminating a similar amount
- The SA gained executive approval and successfully implemented their ideas to enhance internal controls for AP and expense management processes, while reducing processing time by 20%
Key Responsibilities:
- General Ledger and Financial Reporting: Maintain GL accounts, ensuring accurate and complete financial data
- Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process and manage AP and AR transactions using AvidXchange and Bill.com. Ensure accurate and timely payments to vendors and collections from customers
- Expense Management and Reporting: Administer and monitor employee expense reporting
- Software Utilization and Automation: Effectively utilize Sage Intacct for financial data entry, reporting, and analysis. Identify opportunities for process improvement through automation and software optimization
- Financial Analysis: Prepare ad-hoc reports and analyses to support management decision-making. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Compliance and Internal Controls: Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and internal controls. Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and addressing inquiries
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related
- Certification: CPA Required
- Experience: 2+ years of accounting experience and familiarity with Sage Intacct, Bill.com, and Divvy is preferred
- Technical Skills: Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data modeling. Strong aptitude for learning and using accounting systems and other techno
