Overview
This position requires an advanced understanding of accounting principles. Responsibilities include preparing account reconciliations related to JSOX controls, supporting the monthly accounting close process (including AP & AR reconciliations), and creating and posting journal entries with supporting documentation. The role may also involve various monthly, quarterly, and financial reporting tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing and transmitting accounting controls and reconciliations.
- Manage the sales compensation payment plan.
- Support the monthly accounting close, ensuring proper period end cut-off and adherence to the close schedule.
- Perform general ledger account analysis and reconciliations for balance sheet and income statement accounts.
- Review and process accounting adjustments based on account analysis and reconciliation.
- Prepare reports and schedules for internal and external audits.
- Participate in special projects as required.
- Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining internal controls.
- Identify internal control weaknesses and report findings to management.
Qualifications:
- 4-6 years of relevant work experience.
- B.S. Degree in Accounting or related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of standard accounting policies and practices.
- Proficiency in Windows-based applications, including SAP, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, and leadership skills.

Compensation: The salary range is $60,900-$84,590, excluding bonuses and benefits. Compensation will depend on experience, education, and location. Additional incentives may include discretionary bonuses and commissions.
