Job Description:

The RedHead Solutions is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Bookkeeper to join our team. In this role, you will manage and oversee the daily bookkeeping operations for our clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations. You will play a crucial role in maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and supporting the overall accounting functions of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for clients.

Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts.

Record all financial transactions in the appropriate accounting software.

Accounts Payable and Receivable:

Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoicing, payments, and collections.

Monitor and ensure timely payment of bills and invoices.

Prepare and send client statements as needed.

Payroll Processing:

Process payroll and ensure compliance with tax regulations.

Maintain employee records related to payroll and benefits.

Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare reports as required.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.

Provide clients with insights and recommendations based on financial data.

Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.

Compliance and Tax Support:

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Prepare documentation to support tax filings and audits.

Collaborate with tax professionals to ensure accurate filings.

Process Improvement:

Identify opportunities to improve bookkeeping processes and implement best practices.

Train and mentor junior bookkeeping staff as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior role.

Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms.

Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and handle multiple client accounts.

Experience with payroll processing and tax compliance is preferred.

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as an Account Coordinator, Sales Coordinator or any other similar role.
  • Hands-on experience with any CRM software.
  • Experience with marketing/advertising campaigns.
  • Organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication skills with a problem-solving attitude.
  • B.Sc in Business Administration, Marketing or any other relevant field.
