This role is onsite in Camas, Washington.
Accounting Associate Responsibilities
- Support tax, audit, review, and compilation engagements under supervision.
- Develop technical accounting knowledge through on-the-job training and formal learning.
- Document work accurately and track task progress in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with peers and contribute to project tasks as an effective team member.
- Stay informed on market trends, client business activities, and participate in firm initiatives.
Accounting Associate Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field, or actively working toward completion.
- Introductory knowledge of GAAP, tax principles, and accounting processes.
- Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in math, data analysis, and relevant accounting software.
- Positive, adaptable, and motivated to pursue CPA certification.
- Ability to exercise problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
