Job Description
-Manage accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations and general ledger entries
-Prepare monthly financial statements
-Monitor Cash flow and ensure timely vendor payments
-Handle payroll, benefits reporting, state and federal filings and assist with HR functions
-Coordinate year-end reporting and CPA coordination
-Secure financing through a network of lenders
-Present and offer warranties, gap coverage and similar backend products
-Ensure all paperwork is completed and accurately submitted
-Assist with titling, registrations and lien documentation
-Ability to monitor and interpret financial reports
-Enforce legal and regulatory compliance
-Work closely with customers and answer questions in person and on the phone
Requirements
-3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
-Proficiency in Quickbooks or comparable accounting software
-Strong Excel and Adobe Acrobat skills
-Ability to handle multiple responsibilities with accuracy in a high-volume environment
-Ability to lift a minimum of 20lbs
Preferred Qualifications
-Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field
-Prior experience in marine, RV or auto dealership setting
-Familiarity of finance terms, loan structuring and credit evaluation
-Experience with payroll and sales tax reporting
-Passion for boating!
