Executive Recruiter, Accounting and Finance

CV Resources is hiring for a Senior Accountant with strong manufacturing accounting experience to join our client in North Charleston, South Carolina. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in cost accounting and inventory accounting, with a proven track record of driving accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute month-end close activities, including journal entries and accruals.
• Perform general ledger account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data.
• Manage cost accounting processes, including standard costing, variance analysis, and overhead allocation.
• Oversee and reconcile inventory accounting, including physical counts, adjustments, and valuation.
• Support preparation of financial statements, management reports, and audit schedules.
• Partner with operations and supply chain teams to provide insights on production costs and inventory performance.
• Assist with process improvements to strengthen internal controls and enhance reporting efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3–5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in manufacturing accounting.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting and inventory management.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
