As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, our client is dedicated to academic excellence and community development, serving approximately 1,300 students. The school demonstrates significant financial stability, reporting total assets of around $250 million and annual revenues of approximately $94.8 million (2023 data). A substantial portion of its funding comes from program services (tuition) and contributions, with a robust annual fund and endowment supporting financial aid for nearly 20% of its student body, faculty development, and curriculum innovation. Our client offers a dynamic environment for a Senior Accountant seeking to contribute to a well-established educational institution with a strong financial foundation and commitment to its mission.
• They are looking for a senior accountant to join the team and jump right in, in assisting with year end and the audit!
• There has been excellent longevity within the team and room to grow within their organization!
  
  

• prepare audit schedules - pulling supporting documents, making sure they are coded correctly in their accounting system, reconciling accounting records with the supporting documents
• prepare documents and review work papers
• Year end closing- analyzing GL data, confirming accounting records are correct, etc.
  
  

• Year end closing experience
• Audit prep experience
• Strong excel skills
• 3-5 years of accounting experience!
