DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS

The Accountant-Auditor class is the journey level class in this series and is populated with multiple incumbents who make routine and/or limited commitments related to assignment and prescribed by organizational policies and procedures. Additionally, at the Senior Accountant-Auditor level, incumbents develop and implement complex accounting system modifications usually involving the lead of subordinate professional accounting personnel.
