Staff Accountant - Charlotte NC

As Staff Accountant you will:

1. Perform full-cycle month-end close for multiple divisions including, but not limited to, preparing all month-end journal entries and reconciliations
2. Prepare and process monthly sales tax reporting
3. Prepare monthly commission payments to be submitted and paid to HR
4. Responsibility for recording and maintaining all fixed asset additions in the company's fixed asset ledger on a monthly basis
5. Provide invoice coding or review coding done by other members of the team
6. Assist in analyzing revenue and expenses, receivables, payables, and accruals
7. Prepare monthly account reconciliations including cash accounts, receivables, payables, and accruals, and any other balance sheet accounts
8. Support performance and financial audits including Financial Audits, Sales Audits, Operational Performance Audits, Regulatory audits and others as necessary
9. Complete special projects and other responsibilities as assigned, often of a complex and urgent nature

The Staff Accountant opportunity may be an excellent match for you if you have the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting
2. 3+ years of accounting experience
3. Manufacturing or Distribution experience
4. Effective written and oral communication
5. Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
6. Demonstrated ability to work independently and achieve results
7. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
8. Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
