• Prepare accurate general ledger entries and financial statements for company and subsidiaries executive management and board of director review.
• Research, analyze and document explanations for variances in general ledger accounts.
• Reconcile a variety of general ledgers and ensure outages are rectified promptly.
• Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger according to GAAP, maintaining complex Excel spreadsheets for supporting documentation.
• Crosstrain to perform critical functions to back up key personnel and research complex outages.
• Communicate productively and professionally with employees and vendors to resolve issues and answer general ledger related questions.
• Collaborate with teammates to improve internal processes.
• Prepare financial reports for the company and its subsidiaries.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance
• 3-5 years GAAP accounting experience, preferably with financial institution audit experience, or multi-entity experience
• Ability to manage multiple/complex tasks and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
• Excel (basic formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.
• Blackline strongly preferred
