Staff Accountant – Full-Time (Souderton, PA)

Join our growing team! We’re seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support our Accounting Department with reconciliations, journal entries, payroll support, and financial reporting. This role offers the chance to contribute to daily accounting operations while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance — all within a collaborative team environment.

What You’ll Do

• Reconcile general ledger, bank, credit card, and balance sheet accounts
• Prepare journal entries and support month-end and year-end close processes
• Perform daily maintenance of accounts payable and cash disbursements
• Cross-train and provide support for accounts receivable, payroll, and miscellaneous cash receipts
• Maintain fixed asset schedules and compute depreciation
• Support internal and external audits with documentation and reconciliations
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Analyze financial data and provide management with actionable insights
• Ensure compliance with tax, regulatory, and internal control standards
• Contribute to process improvements that enhance efficiency and accuracy

What We’re Looking For In A Staff Accountant

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
• 2+ years of accounting experience required
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; particularly Excel (Pivot Tables) & Power BI Tools experience a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• CPA certification or eligibility preferred
