Base pay range

$90,000.00/hr - $110,000.00/hr

Position Purpose

Reporting to the Controller, the Senior Accountant is responsible for assisting providing timely and accurate support for all financial functions all within a fast paced work environment. The successful candidate will become a vital member of the Accounting team and will have many opportunities to grow their skills.

Essential Functions

  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and prepare related journal entries
  • Assist with bank, payroll, and financial audits
  • Ensure accounting functions are conducted in compliance with GAAP
  • Assist with timely and accurate financial closes
  • Prepare and report financial analyses
  • Contribute to ad hoc projects
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement
  • Maintain and monitor internal financial controls
  • Learn to perform and backup various key functions
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Essential Qualifications & Knowledge

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field. Minimum 3 years experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Must have working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and cost accounting
  • Must have strong Excel skills
  • Knowledge of financial systems and tools, and experience working in an ERP environment (experience with Oracle a plus)
  • Experience working in a Microsoft 365 environment
