Skin Pharm is a modern beauty brand that’s disrupting the skin care industry. We believe in keeping things simple and fun, because who says self-care can’t be both? We’re looking for a full-time Staff Accountant to join us in one of our clinic cities and contribute to our success!
ABOUT THE JOB
As the Staff Accountant, you help with the Month End Close process. You will complete reconciliations and create month end journal entries. Our ideal candidate has at least 0-2 years of professional accounting experience with a track record for providing accurate and efficient work while working independently.
In this role, you will work closely with the accounting team to analyze and summarize financial information and to prepare reports for Management and our Investing Partner. Additionally, the Staff Accountant will work closely with the clinic operations team to ensure data integrity and compliance with company policies.

You are highly motivated and can adapt to ever-changing business needs. You have a passion for the skincare industry and the Skin Pharm brand. You are strong at identifying and solving analytical problems and developing insights into data-driven and actionable recommendations.
You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills as you will collaborate cross-functionally within the company. You should also be proficient in excel, project ownership and time management.
You must be able to take direction, work independently and proactively problem solve. Organizational and multitasking skills are essential in this role. Training will be provided to enhance existing skills and knowledge base.
Additionally, you bring:
- 0-2 years of Accounting experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
- Working knowledge of GAAP.
- Working MS Office skills and Google Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
- Practical experience with accounting software, specifically Netsuite.
- Must be well-organized, detail-oriented, independent and responsive to feedback.
- Able to cultivate relationships across multiple functions and levels in a primarily remote environment.
Preferred, but not required:
- Big 4 Experience.
- Masters degree in related field.
- Licensed CPA.
- Prior experience working remotely.
