As an Senior Accountant, you’ll not only manage day-to-day financial operations but also lead key projects that shape the future of the company. From intercompany reconciliations to clinical trial invoicing, you’ll be involved in varied and challenging tasks that expand your skills and expertise. You’ll also collaborate closely with our leadership team, offering you valuable exposure and growth potential.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage accounts assistants
• Prepare accounts to trial balance
• Submission of month end and year end forms to HMRC
• Personnel Administration duties
• Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures
• Ensure accounts are audited in accordance with company and statutory regulations
• Other reasonable tasks as requested by the Chief Financial Officer.
• Other one-off projects
• Maintain customer accounts – Cash receipts/returns/credits/refunds
• Manage and recover payment from delinquent accounts
• Assist customers with orders, research/resolve problems relating to customer payments, shipping/tracking orders
• Review/enter/process vendor invoices and payments
• Review/Print/Distribute monthly sales reports
• Maintain files and documentation in accordance with company policy
• Maintain/File state sales tax, personal property tax, 1099 forms
  
  

Job Requirements

• Suitable qualification or background in Accounting
• Organisational and administrational skills
• Interpersonal skills and attention to detail
• Detailed understanding of applicable accounting laws and current practice
• Commissioning, running and support of accounts systems
• Debtors and creditors bookkeeping experience
• Experience of working with subcontractors in accounts, personnel and finance
• Understanding GCP
